We are unique in that we only service accident prevention projects, not retail or other wholesalers. This allows us to target information and products to your specific needs.
We are great believers in partnership working, and are constantly looking to give customers the benefit of other projects experience, to get people talking across authorities and disciplines. It is also important for us to understand the driving forces behind your purchasing decisions. What and Who’s reduction targets are you aiming to achieve, or are your requirements more general? Is the equipment that you require really consistent with the reductions being sought, or would your money be better spent in other areas? These are the type of issues that we are pleased to discuss with our clients, and we can usually make sound recommendations for taking the projects forward based on our years of experience.
A few other things that stand Kid Rapt apart.
Newsletters
Relevant newsletters are issued monthly on areas of information that you simply do not have the time to read and research yourself. This could be latest accident statistics, or cost/benefit analysis research that may be useful for commissioning. We are aware that you receive so much information, that we have deliberately kept this as a service to you, rather than a sales tool for us. This is a customer/associate benefit accessed through the member’s area on our website.
Free-samples
We are happy to provide free samples. We understand that before decisions can be made, and indeed to ensure the correct decision is made, it is necessary to see, touch and try the product.
References
We can provide any number of references, either trade, bank or accountants. We would also recommend talking to people who already use us. As we have been around since 1992, we can provide local authority references either in your local area or in your particular supply field.
Stock-levels
We aim to be a reliable volume supplier. We understand the importance of your deadlines and recognise the influence we can have in this area. Our own 3rd party warehouse and distribution facility here in UK supports this.
Public-liability-insurance
As part of our commitment to our clients, our Public liability cover is in line with the minimum NHS supply levels of £5 million.
Understanding of safety standards
We actually read and study the safety standards relating to the products we sell, we don’t have to, however it is only through this understanding we can advise our client base on compliancy and adherence to it. We feedback our comments on safety standards to the Baby Products Association (BPA) for inclusion in discussions on developments of these standards. For example, recently studying the playpen standard highlighted the anomaly that the weight guidance should be printed permanently on the product, however no mention on that the most important place for this information should be on the point of sale material in the first instance, supported by the instructions and then the permanent marking. The BPA then thanked us for pointing this out and are taking it forward for change through the relevant process.
Pro-active relationships with our manufacturers:
We work with our manufacturers to develop products based on feedback from our client base. Many of our clients have fitting organizations who are the best consumers in the world, as they are fitting the products on a daily basis. Their feedback on how to improve this process is welcomed by the manufacturers. We also have had a recent example of one of our manufacturers liaising with NHS choices to correct misleading information so that our client base can be sure that the products they are supplying are fully in line with current good practice.
